CRIBBEN, Helena (nee Morrissey) - Helena passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the age of 82. Helena will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 54 years, Thomas (Tony) Cribben; and her 2 children Paul (Janet) and Louise (David). Helena was a devoted "Nonny" to her 2 grandchildren, Thomas and Roisin. Helena was born on April 14, 1933 in Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland. Dear sister of Mick and predeceased by her beloved siblings Sean, Mary, Bridgid, Jenny and Nancy. Despite being out of Ireland for over fifty years, she never stopped yearning for her home country and relished her visits where she could wander the streets of her hometown with one of her many nieces and nephews and her memories. Helena will be greatly missed by not only her family but also all of her friends and fellow parishioners at St. Bartholomew Church in Scarborough, Ontario. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 12 p.m. at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 59 Heather Rd., Scarborough. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
