SAYCHUK, Alexander - After a long life at the age of 93, Alex peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 with his family by his side at the ThorntonView Long Term Care, Oshawa. Proud past member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 614. Alex, loving husband to the late Jean. Loving father to Cathi (Jim Thompson) and Tom (Joanne). Adored Gigi of Paul (Melinda), Andy (Jenni), Carly, Katie and Olivia. Friends will be received at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue (East of Kennedy Road), on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Ogden Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. Special thanks to the caregivers at ThorntonView Long Term Care.
