Obituary of Luz Ruelos

LUZ BUNUAN RUELOS At 81 years old, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2015, surrounded by family. She is survived by her beloved sisters Lydia Pobre, Ana Yulo and Zonita Reid and her brother Dr. Emilio B. Ruelos, as well as by her brother-in-law Ian Reid and sisters-in-law Dulce Ruelos and Dr. Cecille P. Ruelos. She will be missed by her many loving nieces, especially Marie, Chitoh, Fedi, Dee, Michelle, Kristine, Joanne, Len, Augie, Christine, Renee and Linda, nephews Chris, Eric, Ferdi, Rino, Vernon, Vincent, Mario, Ronnie, Joseph and Kristoffer, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. She retired from Revenue Canada Agency as a Senior Auditor. She had a passion for travelling, cooking and gardening. Wake service will be at Ogden Funeral Home, located at 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, ON, on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Prince of Peace Church, located at 265 Alton Towers Circle, Scarborough, ON, followed by burial at Christ the King Cemetery, located at 7770 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Rouge Valley Hospital, located at 2867 Ellesmere Road, Scarborough, ON. The family thanks her doctors and the staff of the Rouge Valley Hospital Post-Stroke Unit for their excellent care.
