ALLMAN, Hugh - "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away." (Psalms 90:10). Hugh Allman, 82, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on March 11, 2015. Visitation will be held at 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. (viewing 10:00-11:00 a.m.) on March 21, 2015 at Willowdale Christian Assembly, 28 Martin Ross Ave. Burial will follow at York Cemetery around 1:00 p.m. Hugh was born in Barbados on September 7, 1932, and married to Laurna for the last 52 years. He worked over 25 years as a Cable industry giant for Rogers in Toronto He enjoyed teaching and occasionally worked part-time as a Cable instructor for George Brown and Humber Colleges. He was also very actively involved in Church matters and is missed greatly. Hugh is survived by wife: Laurna; siblings (spouse): Elmira (Winston), Desmond (Muriel) and Marson; children: Ferdinand (Sherry), Daria, David (Pearl) and Victor (Monica); grandchildren: Kofi (Isabelle), Darcel, Abigail, Naomi, Faith, Veronica, Caroline and Tabitha; great-grandchildren: Aiden; nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Hugh is predeceased by parents: Nicolas and Millicent; siblings: Vere, St. Clair, Vera, Eustine, Ellen, Keron and Emerson. Please pray for the family and friends.
