RONALD DOUGLAS PUTTOCK With great sadness we announce that Ron passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Monday, February 23, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Olive May Puttock (nee Barron), dearest father of David and Tricia, Ronnie and Carol (predeceased), cherished grandfather of Tara and Alan, Caroline and Greg and Nayo, great-grandfather of Julia, Jacob, Ryan and Theo. Remembered fondly for his love of gardening, cooking and as an avid cricket player. Ron came to Toronto with Olive from London, England in 1983. Since moving to Scarborough, Ron has spent many hours volunteering for his church and community, particularly with Scarborough Parks and Recreation. There will be a service to celebrate Ron's life on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, L'Amoreaux, 3333 Finch Ave. E., at Warden Ave. Visitation will take place at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
