Obituary of Adeline Malandra

Adeline Maffei Malandra February 23, 1927 – January 27, 2015 On Tuesday Adeline was called home by the God she served faithfully all her life. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, (2001) and her son Anthony, (1997). She leaves behind her loving children, Rosanna, (Bob Higgins) Marie, (Jim Fanning) Esther, (the late Anthony Malandra) and Francey, (Jim McKenzie). She was the doting grandmother of James and Catherine Higgins, Cynthia and Frank Fanning, Jordan and Michelle Malandra, Ira Davis, Stephen and Andrew McKenzie. Great grandmother to Cassidy, Maxwell, Jade, Maegan, Aidan, Kiara, Jacob, and two on the way. Also left to grieve her loss is her brother Joshua, and her sisters Phyllis, Ann, Betty, and Victoria. Adeline was adored by all her nieces and nephews, and all her in-laws, and many many friends. She was treasured by all. She was a great example of Christian Faith, and is now safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior. There will be a Funeral Service and reception in Toronto, and then a Service, reception and burial in Montreal. Toronto friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday evening, January 29, at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Ave East, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Friday January 30 at Agincourt Pentecostal Church, 2885 Kennedy Road at 11 AM. Viewing will take place at Agincourt Pentecostal Church at 10 AM. For Montreal family and friends, there will be a viewing on Sunday evening, February 1, at Magnus Poirier, 10300 Pie IX, from 7 PM to 10 PM. A service will take place on Monday morning at 11 AM. With viewing from 9 AM to 11 AM. A reception and burial will follow.
