Obituary of Bob Hopper

HOPPER, Robert D.T. "Bob" - (Funeral Director) Peacefully on January 5, 2015 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Bob was born May 20, 1938, dear son of the late Eric and Hazel Hopper of Leger's Corner, NB. Loving brother of Danny and his wife Marion and Peter, predeceased by George. Brother-in-law to Gwen. He will be missed by his dear friend Susan Taylor and her family and by his many nieces, nephews, friends and former co-workers. Bob received his Funeral Director's license in 1959 and was employed for many years with Ogden Funeral Homes. He and his brother Peter operated Austin J. Mack Funeral Home in the Beach from 1970-1980, Toronto Removal Services (later Toronto Central Services) and Biomed. Bob will always be remembered for his keen sense of humour, his compassion and for being a true gentleman. Special thank you to the staff at Sunnybrook CCU for your care and compassion given to Bob. Friends will be received at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Road), on Sunday at 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Ogden Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation.
