KARL WILHELM "BILL" ARP 1933 - 2015 Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Sorely missed by Lynn, his beloved wife of 44 years, daughter Anke and son-in-law Jack. Devoted Opa to Sean and Anika and predeceased by best friend of many years Peter Kuhne. Born in Otterndorf, Germany, predeceased by his parents Johan and Bertha, brothers Ernst (Ellie) and Hans Arp. Moved from Otterndorf in 1958 to Collingwood, eventually calling Toronto home in 1963. Bill spent his entire career in woodworking. Proprietor of United Woodworking Ltd. Producer of fine, custom-made kitchens and cabinetry. Enjoyed cottage life on Allen Lake for many years. Bill was an unassuming family man who loved gardening and all sports, football, hockey, and especially soccer!! Visitation will be held at OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. (Midland and Sheppard), on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2 p.m., with an hour prior visiting. Followed by a reception at the funeral home.
