SPARKS, Patricia E. A. (nee Thompson) - On November 10, 2014 in her 70th year after two months at Seven Oaks Nursing Home. Loving wife of Bill, mother of Tricia and grandmother of Alexander. Predeceased by her daughter Sherri. Beloved sister of Allan Thompson and Nancy Goth. Patricia was a retired elementary teacher of students in ESL and Special Education. Founder and supervisor of Adult Drop In, Adult Literacy, TTC Travel Training programmes for Community Living Toronto - Scarborough Region. Winner of a Canada 125 Medal, City of Scarborough Volunteer Award and several Awards from Community Living Toronto for her volunteer activities. Many thanks to the staffs at Scarborough Grace and Seven Oaks for their caring support. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Friday, November 21st from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church, 2569 Midland Ave., Agincourt, on Saturday, November 22nd at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Living Toronto - Scarborough Region would be welcomed.
