DENNIS BARNWELL October 10, 1950-November 8, 2014 It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Dennis at Sunnybrook Hospital on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from cancer. He is survived by wife Eldine, daughter Dr. Patricia McClendon and her husband John; siblings Samuel, Vernis, Aster, Janice, Joy, Osborne, Anna and Yvette and respective spouses; in-laws Paul and Sylvia Wilson, Delta, Rubert, Boysin, Marva, Johnis, Carl, Deborah and Denise (by adoption); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Edna Barnwell and brother Emelius. Visitation at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, November 14th. A memorial service will be held at Morningstar Christian Fellowship, 7601 Sheppard Ave. E., on Saturday, November 15th at 10:30 a.m. The service will be preceded by a visitation from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (Union Island) shortly. The family extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at Sunnybrook for the conscientious care offered to Dennis and the compassion shown to family members during his hospitalization.
