ULA BEVERLY BROWN Passed away peaceful at Rouge Valley Health System in the early hours of November 2, 2014, in her 67th year, following an evening surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beverly succumbed to heart failure, resulting from a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beverly's bravery and determination set a glowing example for us all at any stage of life. Beverly will be forever missed by her husband Lincoln, sons Basil and Bryan, daughter- in-law Liza, grandson Bemi, sisters Hazel ("Vanny"), Herlene, Doreen, Jane and Monica, brothers Neville and Desmond, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the care and support of Beverly's many caregivers throughout this difficult time, in particular Dr. Vineeta Ahooja. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Rosewood Church of the Nazarene, 657 Milner Ave. Interment at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 541 Taunton Rd. W., Ajax. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.com).
