RONALD J. STUART October 18, 1923 to October 29, 201 4 Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, just weeks after he celebrated his 91st birthday. Beloved husband of his wife Amy (nee Barnard), deceased, Ioving father of his sons John (Heather) and Dean, deceased. Grandfather to Andrew (Cherry) and Katie (Pato), great- grandfather to Dylan, Dorian and Daniel. WWII Veteran, Ron rose to the rank of Captain in the British Army, serving with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders and the Madras Regiment of the British Indian Army. He also served as a Captain in the Canadian Militia with the Canadian Intelligence Corps. He was a longtime employee of the city of Toronto's Metropolitan Works Department and spent many years as a member of the Scarborough Theatre Guild. Visitation is on Sunday, November 2nd, 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday, November 3rd, 1 p.m. Both visitation and funeral will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly apppreciated.
