John Stephen Lentz, M.D.
May 2, 1958 - October 19, 2014
Passed away suddenly while
hiking in the Rouge Valley
Beloved husband of Louise (née
Moniz) for 24 years, and adored
father of Eric, Julia and Mark
Predeceased by his parents Pete
and Olga. He will be greatly
missed by his sisters Claudia
(Bruce Burns), Sandra (Court
Smith) and Liz Lentz, sister-in-
law Minnie (Dru Chillingworth)
and mother-in-law Herminia (late
Bill Moniz), as well as by his
many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends
Deeply admired and respected
by his colleagues at Mackenzie
Health Hospital and the medical
community. John will be
remembered for his love of
family and his many passions,
including nature, travel, music
and photography. As an
expression of sympathy,
donations may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation or
Canadian Cancer Society.
