THOMAS JAMES DEASON February 4, 1924 - October 13, 2014 Peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Veterans Wing K3C of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Loving husband of Joan and predeceased by his wife Mary. Proud father of Gregg and wife Andrea, Beverley and husband Jim. Fun-loving Grampa to Sandra, Kevin and wife Janin, Katie, Steven and Curtis. Great-Grampa to Miranda, Sitara and Alexander. Cherished step-father of Doug and wife Laurene and Mary-Ellen and husband John. Adored step-grandparent to Lauren and husband Shaun, Jamie and Madie. The extended Deason and Mooney Families and friends will lovingly remember Tom. A WWII Veteran, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 614, retiree of the Toronto Star and longtime member of Westview Golf Club. Visitation for family and friends will be at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt, on Friday, October 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 18th at 2 p.m. in the Ogden Chapel. With gratitude, the family thanks the staff at K3C for the remarkable care he received. If desired, memorial donations can be made to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation. He leaves us rich in memories. "Hit 'em straight."
