I just learned of Mom's passing about 20 minutes ago when Barry called. Family know she and I had our differences but I'm saddened that she chose not to try to reconcile those. I am also saddened by the fact that there was no mention in the obituary of either me or her other son, Brian, whose loss was a pivotal moment in all our lives. My condolences to Barry and Michelle and in particular, Tyler and Chantale, who have lost another grandmother. To mom, I hope you find more peace in the afterlife than you did here.
