Obituary of Ronald Frank Kampers

KAMPERS, Ronald Frank - September 22, 1929 - August 25, 2014 We are sad to announce the passing of Ron Kampers at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on August 25, 2014. Predeceased by his wife Shirley (1993) and sister Pauline Black. He leaves behind his loving partner of nearly 20 years Joan Wallace. Loving father of Stephen (Ann), Elaine Hemingway (Ray) and proud grandfather of Jeff and Brianne Hemingway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ron lived his entire life in the Toronto area. He worked for over 40 years in the electrical engineering design field and enjoyed golf his entire adult life. He was a Past President of the Cedarbrae Golf & Country Club where he was an active member for over 30 years. The family would like to thank the many staff at the Markham Stouffville Hospital for the wonderful care and support they provided to Ron over the last four months. A visitation will be held on August 28th at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by a Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ogden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario. -
