Lo PRESTI, Joseph Salvatore - Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 76, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Marie Joan (nee Liotta) for 51 years. Cherished father of Christina (John), Michael (Bonnie). Beloved grandpa of Lauren, Tayler, Mitchell, Sam and Charlie. Predeceased by his parents Augustina and Joseph Lo Presti and his brothers Lorenzo, Lawrence, John and his sister Mary Polito. Survived by his siblings Anthony (Nell), Sister Josephine of the Maryknoll Sisters, Pearl Zucchero (late Charlie) and Margaret. Loved brother-in-law of Betty and Norma Lo Presti. Beloved uncle to many. Family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funera l Mass will be held at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1737 Lawrence Ave. E. at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave. If desired, donations to the Scarborough Hospital - General Division - ICU would be greatly appreciated by the family.
