Peter and I first met Diana at Church of the Messiah's youth group in l971. She was one of the youth who showed leadership qualities and came faithfully to all the meetings and social events. When the Church Army (now Threshold Ministries) asked the group to participate in missions, many of the youth, including Diana agreed. We set about doing skits and songs to be included in the Church Army presentations. Diana was our lead singer and had a beautiful voice. We had lots of fun and adventures for the two years with the youth group. Diana visited us when we moved to Belleville and met our newborn son, Andrew. Reconnecting at Camp Konoinia in Parry Sound every summer was a joy for us. We will miss seeing her smiling face greet us there this year - camp won't be the same without her. We are thankful that she is with her Saviour, no doubt singing her heart out. We give thanks to God for her. Peter & Joanne Wheatley

We do wish we could be at the service to honour our dear friend Diana. More than a friend Diana was to us a family member, dear sister in Christ, Auntie Diana, Godmother to two of our children, fairy godmother to all four! We have spent less time with our dear sister in recent years due to more than 2000 km between us, but, in Christ, we look forward to seeing her again, fully healed, fully alive and full of resurrection joy. In the meantime we hold her in our hearts with great love and deep and joyful remembrances of her faithfulness, kindness and love. And we thank the Lord Jesus for the gift she has been to us all.
