It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andriana Dimitrakopoulos on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at East York General Hospital with devoted son, Peter by her side. Dear wife of 52 years to Spyridon (1930-2010), loving mother to Peter, John (Jessica), Ekaterini (Dennis) and Nicholas (Nadia); grandchildren Andreas, Zoe, Lucas, Naz and Nojan. Born in Koroni, Greece, Andriana moved to Canada with her family in 1968. She will be remembered for her strength, commitment and love of the family. The family will receive friends at the OGDEN FUNERAL HOME, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. Agincourt (east of Kennedy Road) on Wednesday, May 21 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Avenue, Toronto (south of Ellesmere) on Thursday, May 22 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Highland Hills Cemetery, 12492 Woodbine Avenue, Gormley (north of Stouffville Sideroad). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
