CORNACCHIA, Anthony - Passed away suddenly at Toronto Western Hospital, surrounded by his family on May 12, 2014. Proud and loving father to his son Anthony (Kerry) and his daughter Michelle (Pat). Devoted Grampy to Mya. Cherished partner of Cathie Rye, her children Scott and Steven, dear friend of Shirley Cornacchia. Caring son of Grace, brother to Angelo (Flora) and Rick (Pat). Tony will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and co-workers at Guild Electric where he worked for 38 years. Tony spent many great years travelling, visiting NASCAR tracks across North America and recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning a brand new 2014 Corvette Stingray. Visitation will take place at the Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough), on Wednesday, May 14th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Ogden Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the University Health Network Krembil Neuroscience Centre or The Brain Injury Association of Canada.
