PRIESTMAN, LAWRENCE MURRAY (1934 – 2014)
Lawrence peacefully passed at home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in his 80th year. Beloved husband to the late Rita (Boyles) and the late Margaret. Brother to Joan, Alberta, Brian (Betty). Loving father to Peter, Kenneth (Dianne), Leonard, Daniel, Valerie, Laurie (Peter). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step children. Larry served two terms as President of the IBEW Local 353 and was instrumental in the creation of the retirees group. He spent much of his retirement teaching, volunteering and helping others. His straight forward opinionated nature will not be forgotten by family and friends. Visiting will be at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough, on Sunday and Monday (May 11 & 12) 2-4 and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at the IBEW Union Hall at 1377 Lawrence Ave East. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
