GROOT, Albert - Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on April 24, 2014 at the age of 76 with his loving family by his side. Albert was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, companion and friend to many. He is survived by numerous family in Canada and the Netherlands. He lived life to the fullest and brought a smile to every face. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 6 - 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews United Church, 5645 Morrison Street, Niagara Falls.
