Obituary of Lola Black

Please share a memory of Lola to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lola Louise Black known as Aunt Lola to most of us. She was born September 11, 1926 in Jamaica and she peacefully passed away at approximately 12:00pm on Friday February 28, 2014 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to so many. She was the matriarch of our family here in Canada and incredibly loved by everyone she touched. Although she will be sadly missed, her spirit will continue to live on in each of our hearts. We truly appreciate more than we could ever say the attendance of all those who are able to join us at her service, burial and the following reception upon return to Ogden Funeral Home. For those who cannot make it we understand and we know that both Aunt Lola and our family are in your thoughts and prayers.
