FRED KUMOI Born on March 1 1, 1935 in Chemainus, BC. After a lengthy illness, Fred passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2014 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Reiko Kumoi. Loving father to Glenn (Alison) and Lisa (Doug). Proud grandfather of Sarah (Alex) and Joshua. Predeceased by twin brothers David and Stanley and by brother Bob. Loving brother of Lucy, Kimi, Jean (Tom), Lily, Sue, June, May, Kenny and Naomi. Brother-in-law to Bobby Kawahara and Yaeko Kawahara. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Founder of Canon Interior Construction and Nami Restaurant. Fred lived life to the fullest and loved sports and the outdoors. He will truly miss his golfing, bowling and fishing friends. He would like to extend a special thanks to Drs. Sameshima, Wen, Garzon and Rosso of Mississauga Trillium, his palliative care doctor Dr. Mavrogiannis and his nurse Sophia. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario.
