PORTER, Dr. Renée Margret Alice - Retired Nurse and Nurse Educator, formerly of Seneca College On Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 87. Expressing thanks to God are her family, daughters Lois Porter and Valerie Beadle and her husband Simon, and her granddaughters Kara and Hannah, for allowing us to share her love and life. Fondly remembered by her sister Melva Compton and her husband George, and her late brother Dr. Wycliffe Wight and his late wife Florence; her in-laws Len and Edna Porter, Ruby Noble-Burden, Max and Joan Porter, Verley and Calvin Noble, and Ruth and the late Roy Porter; and her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army, Scarborough Citadel, 2021 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough (at Warden Ave.) on Monday at 12:00 p.m. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
