SCOTT, Bernice (nee Ashby) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bernice "Niecy" Scott, who passed peacefully in her sleep on January 3, 2014 at the age of 65. Deeply loved and cherished wife of Barry for 44 years. Beloved and adored mom of Sean (Ami), Kristen (Gerry), Adam, Devin, Meaghan and Hannah. Grandmother to Kyle, Alisa, Maya and Claire, who were the apples of her eyes. Bernice was a foster parent with the Children's Aid Society for over 20 years and cared for over 75 children in that time. Friends and family are welcome to join a visitation on Thursday, January 9, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ogden Funeral Home at 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 10 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Church at 700 Kennedy Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honour can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or SickKids Hospital.
