BARTLETT, William Russell - July 1950 - September 2013 The Bartlett family is devastated by the loss of our brave and beloved Bill after a 14 month battle with leukemia. Cherished husband of Linda for 34 years and adoring father of Christopher and Kathleen (Aaron Hong). Devoted son of Helen Bartlett; predeceased by his father William in July 2012. Bill will be greatly missed by his brothers Jim (Cecelia), David and sister Judy (Doug Macgillivray) plus extended family. Bill retired from Toronto Hydro-Electric System in 2001 after 31 years of service and will be missed by his friends, co-workers and fellow golfers. Many thanks to Dr. Andre Schuh and the Staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for excellent care and compassion. In appreciation of the hundreds of blood and platelet transfusions Bill received over the past year, donations can be made in Bill's memory at the Canadian Blood Services. Donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would also be appreciated. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough) on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation has already taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
