SORETTE, Joan Margaret (nee Stewart) - On August 31, 2013, Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Devoted wife of Jan for 40 years. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Helen Stewart, brother Jackie and sister-in-law Eilleen. Survived by her mother-in-law Dorothy Sorette, sister-in-law Lori and brother Gerard Stewart (Anne). Loving aunt to Stephen Stewart (Tonya) and Kathleen Silva (David). Beloved great-aunt to Claire and Jack. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Scarborough General and St. Michael's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Friends will be received at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. (east of Kennedy Rd.) on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., followed by a Complete Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m
