MRS. MURIEL WEEKES Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on July 2, 2013. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Weekes and sister Eleanor Maughn. Lovingly remembered by her children Anthony and Robert (Beth). Granddaughter Shelley and Morgan. Sisters Hilary Maughn and Patsy Walcott. Great- grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Muriel was with the first group of nurses to be recruited in Barbados to work in Ontario and remained in nursing until her retirement from Bendale Acres in 1985. Friends will be received at The Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave East. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at The Applecreek Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 700 Applecreek Dr., Markham on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery.
