ALLEN, Margaret Ruth - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on June 3, 2013, just shy of her 65th birthday. Beloved wife of 42 years to Bill. Cherished mother of Stephanie and Heather and her husband Bobby. Daughter of the late Mary and the late Norman Cassidy. Loving sister of Paul (Helen), Maryann (Brian), Jim (Cathy), Maureen, Bernard (Mary) and Mike (Lorrie). Dear sister-in-law of Joe (Jane), Dave (Barb), Julie, Peggy (Kevin), the late Andy and the late Jennifer (Paul). Marg will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the staff at Scarborough Centenary Hospital for their care and support. She will be remembered for her dedication and tireless support of the Scarborough Girls Hockey League and the Ontario Women's Hockey Association. Visitation will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E. (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Ogden Chapel on Wednesday at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
