DORIS LINDA PASCOE PENROSE (nee AMORY) A pril 28, 1914 - March 5, 2013 Peacefully in her 99th year on March 5, 2013, Doris passed away into heaven while in the loving arms of her daughter. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Jack Pascoe (1971) and loving husband of 10 years, Wilfred Penrose (1989). Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Linda Amory and younger sisters Ruth Manser and husband Roy, Joyce MCKinnon and husband Jack; daughter Beverlee Mintern (2011); and step-daughter Trixie Russell and husband Alan of England, dear friends Elsie and Les Summerfield. Survived by her treasured sons: Ernest (Karen), Robert (Judy) and beloved daughter Carolyne (Willi). Loving grandmother to: Kimberlee, Sherri (Fred), Aidan and Avery and great-grandma to Austin and Milan. Dear sister to Albert (Joanne) Amory and Doreen (Bob) Groves and aunt to 13 nieces and nephews. Doris was the ultimate mother, teacher, caregiver and nurse to her entire family. Always kind, thoughtful and giving, she sacrificed her needs and wants to help and comfort her family, parents and siblings through many medical crises as well as dealing with the illnesses and deaths of her 2 husbands. Despite many hardships, she always persevered with courage, faith and a loving smile. Her beautiful large blue eyes and warm heart embraced her family to the end. Her values, love, creativity, encouragement and many special memories will live with us forever. Special thanks to all the wonderful caring and compassionate staff at Rouge Valley Extendicare for the last 3 years, especially PSWs Ginette, Melrose, Deltora, Beatrice and Andrea of Clark House; Dr. Rubenis, the many loving nurses and D.O.C. Gordana Krstevska, administrators Carol Baldasti and Vanda Cozier. Thanks also to RNs Vivian Gatchalian and Lina Candelario for their kind and expert care from 2004-2010. Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (west of Midland), on Sunday, March 10th, 2-4 p.m. Funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Ogden Chapel on Monday, March 11th with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery
