LEMIRE, Jean Stuart - September 27, 1918 - December 28, 2012 Formerly of Thornhill, died peacefully in her sleep at MCCowan Retirement Residence. Predeceased by her loving husband W.A. Ross Lemire. Devoted daughter of the late Annie Lousia Boddington and James Tweedy Gowans. Dear sister of late Allan Gowans. Dear mother of Robert (Alberta) Lemire, Diane (Charlie Handcock) and James Lemire (Bessie Yang). Grandmother of Sean (Katherine) Handcock and Laura (Joseph Handcock). Great-Grandmother of Benjamin, Jacob and Alicia. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Scarborough, ON, on Thursday, January 3rd from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, in the chapel at 11 o'clock. Flowers, or donations to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
