ROOPLAL, Bissondaye - Our hearts grieve as we announce the passing of Bissondaye (Bea/Casso) Rooplal. Bissondaye passed away at her home on November 4, 2012 with her family present. Bissondaye was born on August 20, 1946. Bissondaye was the wife of the late Bassant Rooplal and daughter of the Late Gooldat and Sahodra Sookdeo of Malgretoute Village Princes Town, Trinidad. Bissondaye is survived by her three sons, Subash, Neil and Yoga, grandsons Kevin, Dillon and Sachin, daughters-in-law Zena and Laura. Bissondaye's siblings are Sucela, Omardath, Gourie, Vishnu, Savitri, Jamuna, and Sheila and the late Sister Kamla and her late brother Khemchand. Bissondaye was and an active member of the Hindu Community and will be dearly missed by all her family members and friends. Viewing will be held at The Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, on Thursday, November 8th from 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9th from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Ogden Funeral Home followed by the Cremation which will be held at St. James Crematorium (Bloor and Parliament) at 11:30 a.m.
