HERBERT, Margaret \"Lynne\" - April 1, 1940 - October 31, 2012 With sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our wonderful wife, mother, nana, grandma, sister and friend. Margaret \"Lynne\" (nee Hanes) formerly Ross passed away peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital. \"Lynne\" was the bright light in all of our lives whose generosity and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Survived by her loving husband George \"Chub\", her children: Jonathan, Joseph (Sue), Jennifer, Debi (Mike) and Lisa (Kenny) and the love of her life grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, James, Ben, Michael, Justin and Samantha, her sister Merle Chant and her lifelong friend Marilyn Nolan. \"Lynne\" will be sadly by her many friends. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. East, Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. Memorial service to follow in the Ogden Chapel at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides or to a charity of your choice.
