WILLIAM CHARLES \"BILL\" INNES Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Bill passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Sunnybrook Hospital at age 70. Beloved husband of Sheila for 40 years. Loving father of Catriona (Mark Armitage), Amanda and Carolyn (Dean Robinson). Devoted Grandpa of Ainsley Innes Robinson who was the light of his life. Dear brother of Bette (Rennie Turnbull), Rena (the late Gordon MCGill), Madelyn (Pat Mulrooney), Maggie (Jim Somerville) and brother-in-law of Alex MCKay (Catherine). Bill will be sadly missed by all his family and friends here in Canada and Scotland, England and California. The family wishes to thank Dr. Scott Berry for his ongoing care and dedication and all nurses and doctors at Sunnybrook. Thank you is also extended to Knox Presbyterian Church for their support and prayers throughout this difficult time. The Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 4156 Sheppard Ave. E. (east of Kennedy Rd.), on Saturday, September 29th at 12 noon with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Sunnybrook Foundation, Odette Cancer Centre or Knox Presbyterian Church, Heritage Fund would be appreciated by the family.
