Our beloved Son Jacob James Peters

Our beloved Son, brother, uncle, and Cousin Jacob James Peters, peacefully departed to be with our Lord Yah, Jesus on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Humber River Regional Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Born to and cherished by Bradley Peters and Michele L. Jones on November 2, 2000, in Toronto, Ontario, Jacob leaves behind his older 27-year-old brother Branden, older 24-year-old sister Shayanne, a younger 16-year sister Nevaeh, and 6-year-old niece Amaya and ‘adoptive mother’ Maureen.  Jacob, devoted to Christ from a young age, found solace and purpose in his faith.

From his early years, Jacob demonstrated a passion for serving at the church, embodying principles of greatness, excellence, and mentorship. He pursued knowledge and wisdom with aspirations of delving into sports medicine and kinesiology, driven by his love for sports, particularly basketball, and his dedication to fitness. 

Jacob, a beacon of positivity, served as a leader, inspiring those around him to reach their full potential. His affinity for studying the scriptures, especially the wisdom of Proverbs, reflected his deep spiritual connection.

For the past three years, Jacob excelled as a pool technician and crew leader at a recreational pool company. Despite encountering personal trials he was known for his infectious smile, he radiated love, warmth, and optimism, bringing joy to all who knew him. His genuine concern for others and his boundless capacity for laughter endeared him to family, friends, and colleagues alike.

In the wake of his passing, Jacob leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, cherished by his family and friends. Though he may have departed from this earthly realm, his memory will forever remain etched in our hearts."
