Obituary of Mrs. Elizabeth McNeil

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth McNeil on February 26th 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Lawrence McNeil and her two children Eddie and Susie. She was a loving mother to her 6 children, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Elizabeth (Betty) was born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia and she will be remembered for her love of family and all those she held dear.

She knew how to enjoy life to the fullest and made the best of every situation. She was also a devote catholic that went to church every Sunday. She loved to travel to her hometown of New Waterford and Florida every year.

She also loved to bake and share her famous cinnamon buns.

She was well known for her great sense of humor. She was an inspiration and loved by all who knew her and happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. The world will not be the same without her.

On March 2nd at 1pm we will be having a church service. It will be held at St. Barnabas Catholic Church on 10 Washburn Way, Scarborough, Ontario M1B 1W1.
