Obituary of Mr. Edward Reid
Edward Reid, 63, of Scarborough, Ontario passed away peacefully on March 26th 2022 after a valiant fight against cancer. Edward was the beloved son of Eduardo Reid and Estela Ubilla Hidalgo (Chile). Edward was brother to Wendy Reid (Chile) and step brother to Juan Carlos De Los Rios. He was loving father and stepfather to Catherine and Eduardo (Veloso). Edward was grandfather to Emilie, Haylee and Eliana. Edward will also be dearly missed by his extended family in Chile, the significant others to his family members and his many friends.
Edward moved from Chile to Canada in 1976 with the help of his Uncle Jorge Reid, Aunt Margaret and their three daughters Heydy, Erika and Ange. Edward enjoyed working with his hands and this led his to a career as a Heidelberg Graphic Repair technician. But his true passion was his outdoor life. Edward could be outdoor all year. In any season he could be found fishing either from his boat or on the ice.
A celebration of Edward’s life will be held at a later date.
