Satkunam Emmanuel, 90, passed away on March 16, 2022 at Centenary Hospital,
Toronto, Canada. She was the wife of Joseph Emmanuel and they shared 60 years of marriage together.

Born in Chavakachcheri, Sri Lanka on April 15, 1931. Satkunam Emmanuel was the daughter of Sinnappilai and Ponniah.

Satkunam Emmanuel is survived by her son, Gration; her daughters, Jemma, Doreena, and Shereen; her grandchildren, Delusha, Sugeeth, Irene, Rebekah, Noyline, Stephanie, Reggy, Sopna, and Archana; as well as her great grandchildren, Oliver, Elena and Charlotte. She is preceded by her daughter Thayalini and her husband Joseph Emmanuel.

The viewing will be held on March 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and March 21, 2022 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Ogden Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 11:00 AM.  Following the funeral service the burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
