Obituary of Mr. Ivor Henderson Alleyne

Ivor Alleyne was born on December 27 1955 in Barbados to Florence Armenta Alleyne and Cicro Asgill of Beals Gap Villa Road, St Michael Parish of Barbados. He is the youngest of 6 children.
After Ivor graduated from Parkinson's secondary school, he became a mechanic for the Barbados Transport Board. In 1979 he met Annie Boyce and married and moved to Canada in1983. He worked for A.G Simpson as a Welder and later started his own trucking business where he traveled Canada and the United States. He had a great interest in repairing cars and enjoyed watching football. He was known as a family man that tried to help out others whenever he could.  He was dependable and kind-hearted.

Ivor passed away on January 9th 2022. He was predeceased by parents and brothers, Glenroy, Carl (Anthony), Albert, and he is survived by brother, Jerry Randolph and Sister Marvo. He was cherished by his daughters Nicole Alleyne and Qeunyaii Yarde and beloved family.

A private service will be held with close family and friends.He will be missed from all that know him and the world will not be the same without him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
