"Stanley Percival Nanton passed away on January 2, 2022.  He was on born August 6, 1938 to Ormond and Marie Nanton in Kingstown, St. Vincent.  He passed away due to complicated and chronic medical condition.  He married Gloria Taylor on July 19, 1961, who is now deceased.  He is survived by his four children and their spouses:  Trudy (Eric) White, Stan (Sue) Nanton, Susan (Paul) Brown and Desmond (Debbie) Nanton, as well as 9 grandchildren and 4 greatgrands.

He was educated in St. Vincent and upon graduation from the Boys Grammar School went on to own his own business, building his own house in Cane Garden and enjoying some travel. He loved reading and loved to action movies. While he enjoyed his life in SVG, he immigrated to Canada with his family in 1973 initially to Vancouver and then returning to Toronto, where after initials jobs he settled at the Toronto Transit Commission for 25 years.  Stanley was retired for 23 years and lived independently with his wife Gloria.  They then moved into an assisted living facility because of health challenges.  Stanley was a strong and kind man.  He was a hard worker and devoted husband and loving father. Just as he dealt with all experiences in life, Stanley managed his illness with determination and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones.”
