Obituary of Mr. Norwood Brown

BROWN, Norwood (Woody) Constantine. In loving memory of  Norwood Constantine Brown, age 76, of Pickering, Ontario, who passed away  surrounded by his family peacefully on January 2, 2018 at Etobicoke General Hospital. Norwood was born on September 19, 1941 in St.Thomas, Jamaica son to the late Rudolph Brown and Margaret Kerr. Woody was an ambitious and determined entrepreneur.  In his later years, he retired from the transportation industry.

Woody was an avid domino and strategic ludi enthusiast. He was also was a fun-loving and devoted family man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.  He will be deeply and forever missed by

his beloved son Donovan and his wife Stephanie Mendes and daughter Mona Brown, brother Lincoln Kerr, sisters Louisa Brown and Lorraine Calder, proud and tender grandfather to: William Haywood, Shanelle and Dru Brown, nephew Otis Asare-Appiah and niece Madison Kerr, … and many more family and friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Ogden Funeral Home 4164 Sheppard Avenue East., Scarborough from 12:00pm – 2:00p.m.  Funeral service and reception immediately follows. 

A Private Cremation and Sprinkling of Ash memorial ceremony for the immediate family will be held in Jamaica. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Condolences can be left on the www.ogdenfuneralhome.com website.
