Obituary of Vincent Brown

It is with great sadness that the family of Vincent Albert Brown (Bro. Brown) of Toronto, Canada, announce his passing on Friday November 17th, 2017, at the age of 85 years after a brief illness.

Bro. Brown was born on Monday January 25th, 1932 in Troy, Trelawny (Jamaica, W.I.) to mother Ruthann Morgan (Oswald) and father Wilbert Brown.  He was employed at Long Pond Sugar Estate (Clark’s Town) and Alpart Bauxite (St. Elizabeth), before departing for Canada in 1987.

He will be forever remembered and missed by:

Children: Kayrine Brown (Rawle), Fitz Brown (Vashti), Devine Brown, Patrice Mattison (Christopher), Andre Brown (Christa), Delynne Baptiste (Jesse), Kurt Brown (Rochelle), Vandeen Campbell (Craig). Predeceased by Sons Garfield Brown & Garnett Brown.

A Funeral Service in memory of Vincent Brown will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Ebenezer Revival Tabernacle 1228 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON.

Viewing will take place on Friday November 24th, 2017 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m at Ogden Funeral Home, and at the Church on Saturday November 25th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Service will commence at 11:00a.m., with Pastor Leroy Case & Pastor Ina Samuels officiating.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Repass will follow interment at Ebenezer Revival Tabernacle 1228 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON. Flowers may be sent to Ogden Funeral Home 4164 Sheppard Ave East. Toronto, ON
