With my brother, kuya Tony her husband, beloved ate Luming was a big part of my life as a young student from the province going to college in Manila. I am forever grateful for the love, care, compassion, and kindness she had given in those my formative years. I counted on both of them for financial and moral support, especially when I lost both my parents while in my junior year in college. My young life was lonely, in desperate, emotional wreck.
No matter how busy she was in her beauty salon business, she always took time to cook my favorite Filipino food when I visited. She definitely had helped give me the invaluable family support I needed at the time, the hope and inspiration to pursue and complete my college education. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your love, kindness and support.
To my dear nieces and nephews, Cynthia, Shirley, Marc, John Paul, Maricar, and rest of the family, our love, thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times. Beloved Ate Luming may be gone but her sweet memories will always be close here in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Love and with deep sympathy,
Uncle Monty
