We have had the genuine pleasure of being neighbours with Dennis and Lina for 43 years. The kind of neighbours everyone hopes for but few are lucky enough to have, and they are a big part of the reason we’ve happily stayed in the same home all these years.
One of our favourite things was the relationship between Dennis and Maurice. They spent decades teasing each other but always with a smile and genuine affection.
When we hosted parties in the backyard, Dennis would often appear over the fence with a bottle of his homemade wine to share. We still have a bottle of his wine tucked away, waiting for a special occasion.
Over the years, we watched each other’s families grow... from raising our children to celebrating the arrival of grandchildren.
We are heartbroken by his passing and send our deepest condolences to his entire family. He will be remembered fondly, missed dearly, and never forgotten.
