Obituary of Mr. Keith Davidson Lawrence

Keith was born in Toronto, on March 14, 1945. He graduated from Leaside High school and Shaw Business School. He was employed at Tremco Canada from 1964 - 2000 as a material handling manager.  Shortly after his arrival at Tremco he took responsibility for the Tremco cottage on Salisbury Island, Port Severn, Ontario. In 1986 Keith was instrumental in the building of the new cottage on the island. For many years he was responsible for the maintenance of the cottages.

After Keith’s retirement from Tremco, he was employed as a high school monitor at David and Mary Thomson Collegiate and then employed as a teachers assistant for disabled male students at Wexford Collegiate, Scarborough. He really enjoyed his time at both high schools.

Keith was a Mason for 42 years. He was installed as a Worshipful Master of Patterson Grey Lodge in 2007.  Keith was in charge of the Widows Fund and visited the lodge widows each year before Christmas.

Keith was an avid hunter and fisherman for over 40 years. He was a member of the Burnt Bridge Hunt camp, Arnstein, Ontario and Farm Creek Hunt and Fish camp on Wàhwashkesh Lake in the district of Parry Sound, Ontario. 

He was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Agincourt, in Scarborough and was a member of the board of managers until his death.

He loved playing cards with his friends, including poker, euchre and bridge. 

Keith enjoyed a game of golf. Over the years he played with colleagues from Tremco, male golf groups, golf tournaments, golf trips out of province or the US and playing golf with family. Winter months he enjoyed playing golf in Jekyll Island, Georgia.

Keith bravely battled Parkinson’s in the last years of his life and passed away peacefully June 20, 2026 at Scarborough Health Network Birchmount Hospital 

Keith is survived by his wife Sharon Dickson, son Lloyd and his wife Jennifer, grandson Liam and granddaughter Ellia as well as his sister Cheryl and her sons in British Columbia. He will be greatly missed by his sisters in-law and brothers in-law as well as his many nieces and nephews and his numerous friends.

Interment will be at a later date in St. John’s Norway Cemetery, in the Beaches, Toronto, Ontario.
