With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Coral Irene Carter who departed this life on June 14, 2026, at the age of 82.

Formerly of Surinam, St Joseph. Former employee of Scott Restaurant and Sears Canada and a devoted member of Global Ministries Church.

Daughter of the late Beryl Lampitt Schell. She is survived by her son Blayne Carter, former husband Berthram Carter, Sister Joannie Barrow and Niece Janice Bandfield

Cousin of Aston Austin, Barbara Murrell, Caroline Hartley, Edwin Gamble.Relatives of the Gamble, Taitt and Austin family and many more.

Coral filled the house with music, dancing, and laughter in her younger days. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the casino, collecting things from outside to grow (pinching plants that interest her). She also loved to travel and go on Carribean cruises with her Church families. Coral will be remembered for her deep passion for volunteer work and her dedication to Global Ministries Church. Some friends and family would describe her as spunky,energetic, lover of life and lotto tickets.

The family would like to thank the staff at Centenary Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital. We appreciate their support, utmost care, and compassion they offered during her final moments.
