Obituary of Mr. Clayton Christopher Newitt

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clayton Christopher Newitt, who left this world way too soon on May 15, 2026 at the age of 43.

Born in Ajax, Ontario to Erle & Linda Newitt, Clayton lived a life that was full of heart, laughter, strength, adventure, and connection. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, welcome, and his presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his father Erle, sister Emma, partner Paul, aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends/chosen family, and his fur baby Theo. Clayton is predeceased by his mother Linda.

As a proud and fun-loving uncle, he will be forever missed by his nephews, Jayden and Noah, and niece Sophie.

Though his time here was far too short, the impact Clayton had on the people around him will never be forgotten. His laughter, stories, compassion, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20th at Ogden Funeral home at 3 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, stories, and celebrate the incredible person he was.
