Aunty Jayasothy, I miss you so much.
I wish I could have been in Canada, standing there and saying goodbye to my special, strong, loving, caring and secretly very funny Aunty Jayasothy.
She always had that little sparkle in her eyes, like she was hiding a tiny joke just for me.
It hurts deeply that she has gone.
It feels heavy, confusing and so upsetting.
But she will always live in my heart.
I will forever cherish every precious moment I had with her the laughter, the warmth, the way she made me feel loved without even trying.
Her time on this earth has come to an end, but the memories she gave us will never fade.
We must hold on to those moments that shaped our lives and our family.
My heart and my love will always be with her.
She will forever be remembered as a devoted, caring, remarkable woman to her siblings, her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her sisters‑in‑law, brothers‑in‑law, nieces, nephews but especially to me.
She had a way of making me feel like I was her special one even though she probably made everyone feel that way.
That was her beautiful gift.
I’m grateful that Dad (Uncle Christy) and I had our precious time with her when we travelled from the U.K. to visit her at the care home on Sunday, 21st October 2023.
I’m thankful that Mum (Aunty Rajes), Dad (Uncle Christy), Navasha, and I all travelled from the U.K. to celebrate Aunty Jayasothy and Uncle Victor’s 50th Wedding Anniversary with everyone on Saturday 14th July 2018 at their residence!
These moments are treasures I will hold close forever.
She deserved that celebration that golden moment surrounded by love.
I know she will not be alone in heaven.
Uncle Victor will be right there beside her probably teasing her gently and she will be pretending to be annoyed but secretly enjoying every second, just like always.
Miss you, Aunty Jayasothy.
Goodbye until we meet again.
Love your special
Niece always and forever
Anusha
