Livie, my soul sister
I remember we did a show in Montreal and we were so excited. We shared a room and talked for hours about our music, our past and our goals. We formed an immediate bond. You became one of my closest friends and my biggest supporters. I’ll forever be grateful for that. I’ll always remember your performances. You sang deep, soulful songs while playing the piano. You were a truly gifted musician. Now you’re singing with the angels. I will always play your music and honour you: The poet, the songstress, the talented Livie Moné. I’ll never forget you. I’ll cherish these memories forever.

To Ovita Lynch aka Livie Mone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about you, about us, and about everything we created in such a short but powerful time. It’s hard to put into words what you meant to me, but I’ll try, because you deserve that.
We met through music and that wasn’t just coincidence. Music was the language we both understood when words didn’t come easy. We fell in love through it, fast and real, like we already knew each other in some deeper way. And from that connection, we created something even more powerful our daughter, True. Even her name tells the story of us… True Lyrics. That’s what brought us together, and that’s what lives on through her.
You were never just a beautiful face. Yeah, your smile could light up any room, no question but it was your soul, your talent, your honesty that made you unforgettable. The way you poured yourself into your music… I still hear it, and it hits me the same every time. It brings tears to my eyes, not just because I miss you, but because I know how real it was. You didn’t fake anything. You lived it.
Before everything changed, before I had to go away, we were building something special. Your solo album, our collaboration project all those lyrics about mental health, addiction, love… that was our truth on paper. It came natural to us. There was never any pretending. I could talk to you about anything, and you got it. When I was at my lowest, when I was fighting my own thoughts, you understood me in a way not many people ever have. And I understood you too even when you were still trying to understand yourself. We used to laugh about that… how I’d call things out before you even saw them. That was us.
I know life wasn’t easy for you. The battles you fought were real and heavy. In a lot of ways, I relate to that I’ve walked similar paths, felt similar pain. That’s part of what connected us so deeply. But through everything, you were still you, strong, talented, full of light even on your darkest days.
One of the hardest things for me is knowing that True won’t get to experience you the way I did. She won’t hear your voice in the room, see your smile in real time, or sit beside you while you create. She won’t fully know just how amazing her mother was… at least not firsthand.
But I promise you this I will make sure she knows you.
I’ll keep your name alive.
I’ll play your music for her.
I’ll tell her your story the real story, not just the struggles, but the beauty, the love, the talent, the laughter.
I’ll help her paint the picture of you in her mind so vividly that she feels your presence in her own way. She’ll know where she comes from. She’ll know that music runs through her because of both of us but especially because of you.
And I truly believe she will follow that path. It’s already written in her name, in her roots. She’s a part of everything we were, everything we felt, everything we created.
You’ll always be more than a memory to me. You’re a part of my story, a part of my growth, and a part of the love I carry forward every day.
Rest easy, Livie.
I got our daughter.
And I got your legacy.
Forever
Sheldon

Olivia you were one of those people that I met by chance, and we felt like we were supposed to meet. You were bold, beautiful, and had a caring energy. The past few years I had been fighting some demons, and I regret not connecting with you again when I got better. Sometimes I think of you now and tears come to my eyes. This world is just so hard sometimes. Ill never forget our girls nights, the laughs and observations we shared. I hope you found your peace, and I hope your children find comfort as they navigate this. In your memory I will try to be there for more women. I hope you are singing with the angels up there

To Ovita Lynch aka my Livie Mone,
Some people come into your life slowly… and then there are souls like you, the kind that arrive like a song already in progress, like you’ve been hearing them your whole life without realizing it. That’s what you were to me.
We didn’t just meet we recognized each other. Through music first. Through lyrics, pain, truth… everything that most people try to hide. We didn’t hide. We felt. And we fell in love in that space fast, deep, and real in a way that can’t be explained to anyone who’s never lived it.
And from that… we created something even more powerful than us.
True.
Even her name tells the story better than I ever could. True Lyrics. That’s not just a name that’s our origin. That’s our connection. That’s the energy that brought two imperfect people together to create something perfect.
You were never just beautiful and yeah, you were that too. But it was deeper than that. Your smile didn’t just light up a room… it changed the whole energy in it. People felt you before they even understood you. And your music… your voice… the way you let your pain bleed into your art it was raw in a way that most artists are too afraid to be.
I still listen.
And every time I do, it hits me all over again. Not just because I miss you… but because I remember how real you were. How nothing about you was fake. You didn’t just sing or write you lived every word.
Before everything got taken from us before I had to go away we were building something special. Not just albums… but a legacy. Your solo project, our collaboration… those weren’t just songs. That was therapy. That was truth. That was two people trying to make sense of mental health, addiction, love, pain… all of it… through sound.
And it flowed so naturally.
You were one of the only people I could sit with and say anything to no filters, no pretending. When I was drowning in my own thoughts, when I was at my lowest, when I didn’t even want to be here anymore… you understood me. Not in a surface way , you felt it with me.
And I understood you too.
Even when you didn’t fully understand yourself yet… I saw you. I used to call things out before you were ready to say them out loud, and you’d laugh, like “how do you even know that?” That was our thing. That connection… that honesty… that bond.
You were fighting battles that most people will never understand. Heavy ones. The kind that don’t just go away with time. And I won’t pretend it was easy because it wasn’t. But even in the middle of all that… you were still you.
Still full of light.
Still talented beyond words.
Still someone who made people feel seen.
And that’s what hurts the most sometimes…
Knowing that True won’t get to experience you the way I did.
She won’t hear your laugh echo through a room.
She won’t watch you create in real time.
She won’t feel your presence sitting right beside her.
She won’t fully know firsthand just how incredible her mother was.
But listen to me…
I promise you, with everything in me she will know you.
I’ll make sure of that.
I’ll keep your name alive in a way that people feel it.
I’ll play your music for her so she hears your soul through every note.
I’ll tell her who you really were not just your struggles, but your strength, your beauty, your talent, your heart.
I’ll help her build a picture of you so vivid in her mind that it won’t feel like she missed you… it’ll feel like she knows you in her own way.
She’ll know where she comes from.
She’ll know that the music in her veins that feeling, that depth comes from both of us… but especially from you.
And I believe, deep down, she’s going to follow that same path. It’s already written into her story. Into her name. Into her blood.
You didn’t just leave behind memories.
You left behind meaning.
You left behind music.
You left behind a piece of yourself that’s still growing in this world through our daughter.
And me…
I carry you with me in everything.
In every song.
In every thought.
In every moment I reflect on who I’ve been and who I’m becoming.
You were never just a chapter.
You were a turning point.
Rest easy, Livie…
I’ve got True.
And I’ve got you your voice, your story, your legacy.
Always. Forever
your handsome red devil
Sheldon Aitken.

To live or not to live is a balance between heaven and earth. Existing was an option, it just wasn’t enough. You’ve always been a star. I hope for your journey to peace. Never misunderstood. I know who you are. You’re my sister, LIVIE And Majesty For life. Know my pain, no scrutiny; the father called you home. I’ll make sure everything we talked about, I will keep in my heart.
